The Christmas mailings for the cultural bureau Sauerbrey | Raabe are a continuation of the tradition of using hand-lettered typography as a main design element.
For 2015, the work reflects the theme of ›snow‹, the slogan being highlighted by transparent UV-lacquer on white paper. Depending on how the light hits the paper, you see the slogan shine through. The Christmas card of 2014 combines a hand-drawn slogan with a gold paper. The temporary tattoo on the Christmas mailing provides a bit of holiday glimmer. The handwritten slogan in combination with the gold detailing communicates festivity and joy for 2013.
