Zalando External Housewarming Event

The external Zalando Housewarming Event is not only about presenting the new Headquarters but also to introduce some of Zalando’s core characteristics and visions to the selected audience. Having the concept of ‹starting point› in mind, we want the actions & specials to speak for themselves to strengthen Zalando’s DNA and to have a longlasting impression on the guests.

mawidesign was commissioned to create the overall look and feel for the event, the wayfinding concept as well as special event ideas.

The wayfinding concept needed to be designed in order to work for the event as temporary guidance and without interfering with the already excisting wayfinding on the campus. That’s why we used tape art with little side notes as the graphical solution.

To represented the DNA of Zalando in a visual way we were using the corporate color
for the food and drink concept. Because what makes people more connected than
good food and delicious drinks?

As the ›growing success‹ of Zalando is a huge topic for the event itself, we wanted our guests to be part of it: Seed bombs are a sustainable give-away. They also help our
bee-friends to survive. With this give-away idea, we gift our guests with something, they can let grow at home.
