The previous corporate design for the Cologne Opera was refreshed. A variable design system opens – like a curtain – to a stage for culture and enjoyment. The differently applied design elements, which slide into and away from one another, create variety within the design. The new design is bold, high-contrast and brightly colored, offering a many-faceted translation of the previous design.
Conceptualization and design for different media, such as the monthly issues, fanfolds, playbills and the book of the repertory season. The latter offers a visual bonus, presenting a photo gallery of colored pages – the original color references defined by Wilhelm Riphahn for the opera house.
